Dear Boulton
I intend in a few months to print another poem, as the first pays me so well – now I shall make a note on the steam-engine, part of which Mr Watt will supply me with, but I wish to say something popularly about you application of it to Coining and shall be glad if you will send me some account of it, that may fill about a page, viz. The processes the copper goes through by your steam-engine, and the number it can make in a minute or hour, etc.
It would give me great pleasure to hear of your own health, and the welfare of your Son, and daughter, to whom I beg my Compliments if they are with you, and am, dear Boulton
Your affect. friend
E Darwin
